Dr Kunal Dev Sharma completed his graduation from HAU, Hissar in 2005. His love for horses led him to train in equines in Hyderabad, after which, he worked in South East Asia (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) for a few years at a mixed animal practice. Being a 3rd generation vet, he inherited very rich experience from his father & grandfather who are also responsible for introducing the first private veterinary clinic in old Delhi, way back in 1952. Following this he diversified, going on to pursue ophthalmology as a speciality from Australia. He is also one of the few Indian veterinarians to have earned a prestigious membership to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, UK. Since then, he has had tremendous experience in canine & feline patients. Kunal returned to India in 2011 after working in England for a couple of years. Their interest in orthopaedics was inculcated in the year 2009 when he worked In an orthopaedic referral hospital in UK & since then Kunal has trained intensively in spinal surgeries & trauma surgeries. Today he is an active member of the international veterinary orthopaedics community (member of AOvet & European Society of veterinary orthopaedics & Traumatology) & enjoys performing a variety of minimally invasive procedures, orthopaedic & spinal surgical procedures at Max Vets multi-speciality hospital in Delhi. He travels to his other partner centres of Aniheal hospitals to perform some very demanding procedures as & when needed. He Likes to share knowledge & experiences with others & is eager to learn anything new & was also listed in the 2020-2021 issue of the Limca book of Records.
